
The Henley Index has published the list of the most powerful passports for 2025 – Singapore tops the list.
The Henley Passport Index has released its list of the most powerful passports for 2025.
In the top two positions of the index are three Asian countries: Singapore is first, while Japan and South Korea share second place.
In third place are seven European countries: Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Spain.
Fourth place includes passports from Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden.
Rounding out the top five are Greece, New Zealand, and Switzerland, all tied.
The Indian passport had the biggest jump globally this year, climbing 8 positions to rank 77th. Indian citizens can now travel to 59 countries without a visa.
